New Digs

Only a couple of months to go before I have to clear out of my office and into the new Promenade building on Sparks Street.  All of West Block - the building I'm in at present - will be gutted and eventually the House Chamber itself (where Question Period is held) will be moved over to West Block while they modernize the House of Commons itself. It's a long tale, but it will take years, heavy investments, and lots of dislocation for MPs, their staffs, and support personnel.  Because the Conservatives are government at the moment they immediately took all the best offices in the new building.  Sad really, but the Liberals did it to the Conservatives before that, so it just seems to be the pattern here.  At some point people will begin to show more kindnesses here.  Below is a brief video showing my new office, where I'll be in January.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t2-spLNJvA&fs=1&hl=en_US]
